Daughter vs father: K Kavitha launches new party 'TRS' after bitter fallout with KCR-led BRS

On Saturday, former BRS MP and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha launched her new party, Telangana Rashtra Sena , at a convention center in Munirabad near Hyderabad, attended by hundreds of supporters.
Kavitha quit the Bharat Rashtra Samithi seven months ago following internal disagreements, subsequently criticizing her father, BRS supremo K Chandrashekar Rao, for alleged corruption and public neglect.

Future plans include contesting the 2028 assembly elections, building on grassroots outreach through the Jagruthi Janam Bata tour and her work with Telangana Jagruthi since resigning.
