Danone increased in the third quarter more than many other food companies. The French manufacturer of brands such as Activia, Alpro and Evian benefited above all from its focus on products that are considered healthy.

Danone saw its sales increase slightly in the third quarter by 0.7% to 6.87 billion euros (6.36 billion francs), driven in China by baby and health-oriented products and in Europe by fermented yogurts and plant-based drinks.

The agri-food group has signed a new quarter of strong organic growth, driven notably by sales in Asia.
