This Friday, May 23, the President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa, awarded the award of Cross to the Merit of War in the degree of Great Cross to the eleven soldiers killed in the Alto Punino, in Orellana.
President Daniel Noboa grants military condecoration for uniforms killed in Alto Punino, Orellana. He also recognizes receiving eight survivors of the Napo Brigade, and being considered H roes Nacionales.
President Daniel Noboa signed Executive Decree 648, on Friday, May 23, 2025, to award the award “Cruz al Merito de Guerra” in the degree of “Gran Cruz” to the 11 soldiers killed during an ambush in Alto Punino, province of Orellana, in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Noboa’s entry celebrates the 11 soldiers killed in Alto Punino; they will be declared National Heroes was first published in Teleamazonas.
