On Friday 31 October in Dakar, the countdown of the Olympic Youth Games (JOJ) Dakar 2026 was launched with the official presentation of the mascot. In the presence of the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and the President of the International Olympic Committee, the event celebrated African youth.
