A couple of days after losing the ATP Marseille final, the young Serb Hamad Medjedovic scored another notable victory in Doha, Medjedovic faced Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round and prevailed 7-6, 5-7, 7-6 in two hours and 44 minutes.  Hamad finished the match literally on one leg, producing a little miracle.
