Prague - The Czech U-21 football team left for the European Championship in Slovakia this afternoon. The Czech team left by train from Prague's main train station and should arrive in Bratislava in about four and a half hours.
Ostrava midfielder Matěj Šín dropped out of the Czech U-21 national team's European Championship nomination due to injury. The day before the Czech team's departure for the championship in Slovakia, he was replaced by left-back Albert Labík, who spent the last year and a half in Teplice on loan from Slavia Prague.
The Czech U-21 football team had to deal with unpleasant problems the day before they moved to Slovakia, where the European Championship begins on Wednesday. Matěj Šín, who had already figured in the A team nomination and was supposed to be one of the key players, dropped out of the nomination due to injury. Coach Jan Suchopárek additionally nominated Albert Labík in his place.
