On Saturday, Colorado announced that legendary head football coach Bill McCartney will be honored with a statue outside of Folsom Field. On the same day the CU football program honored two of its most recent greats, the school announced it would soon honor one from its distant past, too. The university announced Saturday that it will erect a bronze statue of the late Bill McCartney, who led the Buffaloes to their only football national title, outside Folsom Field this fall.
