'Critical incident' shut down busy intersection in downtown Austin

Parts of West 6th and Guadalupe were shut down as crews worked to rescue them. Police were eventually able to get the patient strapped into a harness before the crane operator lowered the 400 ft. high crane. The patient was then transported to a local hospital. As of 10 a.m., the scene is clear.
