Crash shuts down I-695 outer loop in Essex
ESSEX, Md. — Crews are on the scene of a crash along I-695 in the Essex area. The crash was reported at just after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday on the outer loop of I-695 just prior to MD 702. Several outer loop lanes are blocked and backups stretch back to Chesaco Avenue in the Rosedale area. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should expect delays in the area.
