For years, the name of Berlin's Mohrenstraße has been discussed. On Saturday, it was supposed to be renamed Anton-Wilhelm-Amo-Straße. But the Berlin Administrative Court stopped this for the time being.
For years the Berlin district of Mitte wants to rename the Mohrenstraße. Several court proceedings survive the idea. But shortly before the official renaming at the weekend, an urgent request stops the project.
