Court confirms statute of limitations for two more crimes by Ricardo Salgado

The court upheld Ricardo Salgado's statute of limitations for two more crimes in the BES case, and now the bank's former president is responsible for 54 crimes, 11 fewer than at the beginning of the trial.

According to the orders signed this month, and to which Lusa had access, they prescribed two crimes of infidelity - one on February 28 and the other on March 8. Today, two more crimes of infidelity are prescribed, but the order confirming these prescriptions and bringing the list of crimes of the former banker to 52 has not yet been issued by the Judicial Court of the District of Lisbon.
