Work began Monday morning on resurfacing a half mile of East 11 Road from Highway 14 just south of Aurora toward the data center and ending at the Mid Nebraska Land Developers headquarters. County Highway Supt. Jeremy Brandt said the project will make use of a new soil stabilization enzyme that he believes could be a “game changer” for county roads since the cost is $17,000 to $18,000 a mile rather than $1 million to lay down asphalt.
