Council hears about pool repair, ash tree removal

In his report to the city council at their June 9 meeting, City Manager Bob Elston was glad to report that the lap pool and slide at the Sleepy Eye Family Aquatic Center had opened that day. The splash pool for little kids had opened on May 28, but the lap pool was delayed due to water leaking out at a faster rate than acceptable.
