Council bids for major affordable housing changes; denounces loss of planning control - Manly Observer

Council has voted to proceed with its decision to water down Frenchs Forest’s Affordable Housing Contributions Scheme to encourage construction progress, after a rescission motion failed at an extraordinary meeting last week. However, it has countered with a bold move to add affordable housing requirements across the Northern Beaches, albeit at no more than three per cent.
