Catholics celebrate Corpus Christi today.
The Catholic Church is celebrating the feast of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ today, also known as Corpus Christi. It commemorates the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, which is the center of religious ritual. Since Corpus Christi is a public holiday in Austria, most of Germany, and Croatia, among other places, traffic is expected to be significantly higher today.
