Coroner's office identifies three dead in unincorporated Griffith shooting

Marshall Lawson Jr., a 69-year-old Hammond resident, was pronounced dead at 2:50 p.m. Friday at Methodist Northlake Hospital in downtown Gary. Robert Secviar, 63, a Griffith resident, died at the scene of the shooting on the 600 Block of Colfax St. in Griffith. John G. Stefanich, 67, a Highland resident, also died at Munster Community Hospital in Munster. All three deaths took place at a home in unincorporated Griffith.
