Corolla Beach Rescue adds double red flags to ocean warnings - The Coastland Times

New for 2025, Corolla Beach Rescue has added a “Double Red Flags” warning to its system of notifying beachgoers of ocean and surf-related hazards. This new designation is endorsed by the United States Lifesaving Association and has been adopted into the Currituck County Code of Ordinances by the Board of Commissioners.
