Fluopyram, an active power widely used in France, has been found at rates exceeding the regulatory quality limit in 17 water distribution units in the region, alerted this Wednesday 28 January INGO Generations Futures.
In the Hauts-de-France, 46 municipalities exceed the regulatory limit of fluopyram in drinking water, according to the NGO Generations Futures. A fungicide always allowed, at the heart of health controversies. Concentrations reach up to 17 times the quality threshold.
Fluopyram, a fungicide belonging to the PFAS family, contaminates the water in more than 45 municipalities. The Directorate-General for Health referred the matter to the National Health Security Agency.
