Consumers Energy to Interrupt Power for Some Flint Customers Late Monday to Perform Work – The Courier News

FLINT, Mich., Oct. 3, 2025 – Consumers Energy will interrupt power for nearly 2,900 Flint customers starting late Monday as crews perform critical work in a local substation. Consumers customers will be affected in the general area south of the Flint River, north of Corunna Road, east of I-75 and west of Springer Avenue. McLaren Flint Hospital will not be affected. The interruption will start at 11:30 p.m. Monday and last until as late as 7:30 a.
