Construction output, adjusted for inflation, increased slightly by 2.2% in May to EUR 677 million. The sector achieved growth thanks to the year-on-year acceleration of domestic new construction, as well as an increase in the performance of Slovak construction companies abroad. Month-on-month, seasonally adjusted, construction output increased by 0.2%. The Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic (ŠÚ) reported this on Friday.
