Construction of floating offshore wind farm nears completion off the coast of Goto City, Nagasaki

[Yomiuri Shimbun] Construction of Japan's first wind farm, which will house a collection of floating offshore wind power generation facilities, is nearing completion in Nagasaki Prefecture. We visited the site, which is aiming to begin operation in January 2026. (Jun Sato) Fukue Island (Goto City), part of the Goto Islands, lies off the west coast of Nagasaki City.
