The court in Rotterdam has decided that the construction of an asylum seekers' centre (azc) in Dordrecht may proceed, despite objections from local residents. Eight local residents had filed an objection to the arrival of the azc, but their objections have not yet been dealt with in substance. Nevertheless, the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) has been given free rein for the time being.
