Community helps ‘push’ 2 new Seguin fire trucks into service

Inspired by adventures of his favorite children’s show character Blippi, 3-year-old Julius Hunt was eager to see a fire truck up close and personally, his father, Deddrick Hunt, said.

Push-in ceremony held for new attack truck

Hopkins County Fire Department officially put into service its newest truck, Attack 20, following a a push-in ceremony at the county fire station Friday morning. HCFD, recruits from the local fire academy, Hopkins County EMS personnel, members of volunteer fire departments and county officials were on hand for the occasion, which included a wet-down and wipe down in true fire fashion.
