Police Ask for Video, Photos as Investigation Into Death of Ohio Dentist, Wife Continues
- On Tuesday, the Columbus Division of Police asked residents to submit photos or videos to assist the investigation of a fatal shooting on Columbus' north side near the 1400 block of North 4th Street on Dec. 30.
- After co-workers raised concerns, officers checked the residence multiple times between 9:22 a.m. and 10:05 a.m., including a 9:22 a.m. visit with no answer, and a 9:57 a.m. report of children inside.
- At the scene, investigators recovered spent 9mm shell casings, found no weapon or forced entry, and Columbus police homicide detectives are reviewing video evidence.
- Two young children were found unharmed and the family vowed to seek justice, calling the deaths of Spencer Tepe, 37, and Monique Tepe, 39, "tragic and senseless."
- Authorities requested digital evidence from 12 a.m.–9 a.m. on Dec. 30 in the area bounded by Summit, North Grant and East 7th to East 11th Avenues, with anonymous submissions via QR code.
