COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The Columbia City Council called for a special election to be held in Ward 2 to replace council member Lisa Meyer following her resignation. According to documents from the council, it is the council's responsibility to call for a special election in Ward to fill the remainder of Meyer's term.
