The National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) has just reported that in June inflation grew less than expected, reducing the annual CPI to 4.82%. One month ago annual inflation was 5.05% and according to Bloomberg's survey of expectations the market expected it to fall to 4.90%. DANE said that the monthly variation of the CPI was 0.10 per cent and the group of restaurants and hotels made the largest contribution.
