Collier OKs final $44M in sales tax project funding

Five projects, including a new jury room and the Vanderbilt Beach Road extension, will receive the remaining $44 million in sales tax infrastructure funds approved by voters in 2018.   Although the projects exceed the current sales surtax infrastructure fund revenues, county officials expect that additional interest will be generated over time.
