The report also states that the potential production of dry coca leaf in the sun reached 79,810 metric tons during 2025.

On Tuesday, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) presented the 23rd Report on Coca Cultivation Monitoring in Bolivia 2025, at an event attended by government authorities, the police and the armed forces. The document reveals that coca cultivation in the country increased by 7 per cent compared to 2024. Thus, 14,400 hectares of the leaf is recorded outside what is permitted by law.
