Coastal flood advisory issued for Cumberland County until early Monday morning

A coastal flood advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 4:47 a.m. valid from 9 p.m. until Monday 5 a.m. for Cumberland County.“Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways,” explains the weather service. “Tidal flooding may also occur with successive tide cycles through the Monday night high tide.”
