South Boulder Rec Center to close temporarily — as city moves ahead with stopgap repairs to aging facility

The South Boulder Recreation Center will close for extended maintenance this summer, part of the city’s annual facility repair schedule and a larger attempt to keep the aging building operational. Closures coming to South Boulder Rec Center

The South Boulder Recreation Center, 1360 Gillaspie Drive, will be fully closed later this month for upkeep, the city of Boulder announced in a Monday news release. The closure, which the city says is for a deep clean and short-term maintenance, will shutter the pull this Sunday and the entire facility on July 21.
