Civic Media has flipped Liberal Talk 1260 WLAK/107.5 W298DK Amery WI to a simulcast of Country 95.7 WSCM Baldwin. Civic acquired the stations in September 2022 with the previously silent 1260 (then WXCE) launching its Talk format later that month. Civic Media Adds Country Simulcast in NW Wis., Dropping Talk
Civic Media has dropped its News/Talk lineup from a station in northwestern Wisconsin and switched it to a simulcast of a Country station. WLAK/1260 (Amery) and its FM translator, W298DK/107.5 (Amery), are now rebroadcasting “St. Croix Country” from Civic’s WSCM/95.7 (Baldwin).
