CHP Ordu MP Mustafa Adıgüzel stated that ORBEL, a company owned by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, is being used as a "subcontractor" to help private companies obtain mining licenses. Adıgüzel also mentioned that the Ministry of Energy has stated that municipalities cannot transfer mining licenses to the private sector, and added that they will take the matter to court.
