China's box office performance in the first public holiday after the Chinese New Year was sluggish. The nationwide box office revenue reached 380 million yuan during the Qingming Festival holiday (April 4–6), slumping by 56% from the record high set in the same holiday last year, according to data from the China National Film Administration.
