- China acknowledged that resolving the boundary dispute is a complex process that requires considerable time, while affirming its willingness to continue dialogue on negotiation, border management, and fostering peaceful cooperation.
- The two countries have held 23 rounds of Special Representatives meetings, affirming disengagement agreements and aiming to sustain tranquility despite a trust deficit caused by the 2020 eastern Ladakh standoff.
