In one small step for robot-kind—thousands of them, really—humanoid robots ran alongside actual humans in a half-marathon in the Chinese capital on Saturday.

Humanoid robot Tiangong crossed the finish line after 2 hours, 40 minutes and 42 seconds of racing. Human beings also ran and Kenyan Machascaleb Alhamis won in 1 hour, 6 minutes and 32 seconds.
