China failed to fulfill its promise, shrimp exports plummeted, Honduras wants to return to the Taiwanese market

The Central American country of Honduras broke off diplomatic relations with Taiwan in March 2023 and established diplomatic relations with China, but this dealt a heavy blow to its shrimp export industry. The country's Foreign Minister Enrique Reina said that it is seeking opportunities to re-engage with the Taiwanese market.
