PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) - The Peoria Chiefs lit up the night sky Tuesday night maybe even more than the upcoming 4th of July fireworks. They took down the archrival South Bend Cubs 21-2, scoring the final 20 unanswered. Peoria City soccer played Des Moines to a scoreless draw while honoring the Peoria Notre Dame girls soccer team at halftime for their state-runner up finish this season.
