Bodeli and surrounding villages in Chhotaudepur district have now been recognized as a Municipality. The Gujarat government has declared this area as a ‘Small Urban Area’ under Article 243Q(2) of the Constitution of India and Section 7 of the Gujarat Panchayat Act, 1993.
