Hundreds of indigenous peoples and organizations, collectives, journalists, academics, artists and intellectuals from Mexico and other parts of the world condemned the armed attack against the autonomous community of Cherán K’eri, in Michoacan, on July 2, and demanded that the Mexican state “be held responsible in the search for justice and reparation” for the damage.
