SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- Girl Scouts from across the nation will gather in Savannah, Georgia -- the birthplace of the organization -- to cross the Talmadge Bridge. This literal bridge-crossing will be symbolic of the traditional ceremony where Girl Scouts move from one level to the next. Originating from concerns about the hardships of poor local people who want a bridge for convenient travel, the Editorial Board of Thanh Nien Newspaper assigned the Thanh Nien Newspaper Journalists Association and the Thanh Nien Newspaper Trade Union to connect and find sponsors to turn the people's dream into reality.
