Chad: Who keeps the house in the event of divorce? A debate that stirs the country, the temporary government

On 8 March 2025, in Ndjamena, at the close of the National Week of Chadian Women (Senafet), fifteen recommendations aimed at improving women's rights were submitted to the Government, one of which received particular attention: that of a bill stipulating that, in the event of divorce, the family home should be returned to the wife and children.
