The trade union headquarters reaffirmed its rejection of the employment chapter of UND 70/23 and proposed a development agenda with inclusion, social dialogue and strengthening of SMEs.
The central worker called the official initiative “the ratification of UND 70/23” and warned that any flexibility “will only bring more precariousness and inequality.” In addition, she called for a “productive pact” that strengthens SMEs and promotes decent work.
The CGT, through Gerardo Martínez, reiterated its rejection of the labor reform promoted by the government and called for an economic model that prioritizes employment, production and workers’ rights. It took off from the draft Basic Law 2 that the government attributed to that dialogue table. It clarified that every attempt to advance against labor rights “has only generated more precariousness, inequality and exclusion.”
