CHARLESTON, Ill. (WAND) - The state finals for girls' track and field take place at Eastern Illinois University this week. There was no shortage of local high school athletes present to position themselves in the finals in 1A competition.

Decker advanced to the championship race after finishing seventh out a field of 30 with a time of 5:04.23.
