Central/Gitega Region: After the outbreak, an unexpected fall in prices relieves households

For several weeks, the price of bean, one of the pillars of Burundi's food, has reached worrying heights. Households, already weakened by a difficult economic situation, were struggling to obtain supplies. Yet, against all expectations, a sudden fall in prices has taken place in recent days, bringing relief to households and raising suspicions of opinion.
