Central Asian countries Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have pledged support for Cyprus’ sovereignty effectively burying Ankara’s efforts to use those states as a vehicle for recognition of the occupied northern part of the country, Cypriot and Turkish media have reported.
