Lidl customers are informed about the withdrawal from the market of a product intended for pet food. The measure has been announced by the Dutch supplier Partner in Pet Food NL BV and aims at a range of wet cat food marketed in retail stores.
Dutch supermarkets are warning about the possible presence of plastic in canned cat and dog food. The products in question are from the company Partner in Pet Food NL B.V. Pieces of plastic were found in the cans during quality checks. Lidl, Albert Heijn, and Jumbo have posted a warning on their websites listing the names of the affected products.
