Caufield Scores in Overtime as the Canadiens Defeat the Mammoth 5-4

On Thursday at the Bell Centre, Cole Caufield scored 30 seconds into overtime to lift the Montreal Canadiens past the Utah Mammoth 5-4.
Captain Nick Suzuki returned from a six-game absence to record a goal and two assists, helping Montreal rebound from Tuesday's historic 5-4 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets.
Utah's Logan Cooley scored a hat trick, while Montreal received depth scoring from Arber Xhekaj, Kirby Dach, and Adam Engstrom, who jumped into the glass celebrating his first career goal.
The victory improves Montreal's record to 10-3-3, while Cooley became the fastest active player to record five career hat tricks in 228 games.
On Saturday, the Canadiens travel to face the Toronto Maple Leafs, while the Mammoth visit the Ottawa Senators.
