Power pole crash in Three Points leads to outage and road closure

THREE POINTS, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is advising residents of a lane closure in Three Points after a power pole crash Tuesday afternoon.

Residents just east of Three Points are experiencing a power outage, after a vehicle struck a utility pole at West Ava Road and South Sierrita Mountain Road.Eastbound traffic on Sierrita is closed, according to a social media post from Pima County Sheriff's Department.Trico Electric is on the scene. PCSD asks that people avoid the area.
