Car fire causes traffic backup on Highway 1 near Agassiz

Firefighters were called out to a vehicle fire on Highway 1, east of Agassiz on Thursday. The call came in around 1:15 p.m. on July 16 for the incident which was in the westbound lanes of the highway, about one kilometre east of Herrling Island.
