It’s been a busy day for the Penguins. Shortly after Hoffmann Family of Companies’ introductory press conference as the franchise’s new owner, their president of hockey operations made a trade to add another intriguing young forward to the organization.
In exchange, the Capitals took over a third round pick at the NHL auction in 2027 and a fifth round pick in 2028.
